What every plan includes

A fully functioning vanilla Windows 11 computer on a server-class host, with a pre-activated license in the monthly price and full administrator rights so you can install whatever you need without asking us.

Every desktop has its own dedicated public IP address and unmetered traffic - no bandwidth cap, no fair-use threshold, no overage charge.

Delivery is instant: finish signing up and the login is in your inbox. Open it in any browser on Windows, a Mac, Linux, a Chromebook, an iPad or an Android tablet, or connect with a standard Remote Desktop client instead.

Support is included on every plan and available around the clock. There is no contract and no minimum term.

Windows running as a cloud desktop

Fast where it counts

Instant delivery gets you a desktop this afternoon. What keeps you on it is that it is quicker than the machine it replaced.

Server-class, not desk-class

Each desktop is its own virtual machine with its own allocation of memory and virtual cores, on a Hyper-V host built for continuous load. It does not slow down with age and nobody else's programs run inside it.

Vanilla Windows 11

No manufacturer bloatware, no trial antivirus, no pre-installed anything. Windows, its updates, and what you choose to put on it.

A data-center connection

Downloads, web applications, cloud sync and large transfers run on the data center's redundant carriers at data-center speed, unmetered, with a dedicated IP. Your home broadband only has to carry the screen.

It keeps working when you leave

Close the laptop and the desktop carries on: the export finishes, the batch job completes, the agent keeps running. Open it again from any device and it is exactly where you left it.

The device in front of you stops mattering

The desktop does the computing; your screen shows the result. An old laptop, a Chromebook or an iPad gets the same speed as a new workstation.

Grows when the work does

Change plan whenever you like. Going from Basic to Standard gives the same desktop more memory and more cores, without rebuilding anything.

Why an Infosaic desktop is fast

Common questions

What is an Infosaic virtual desktop?

A fully functioning vanilla Windows 11 computer that runs on Infosaic Cloud rather than on a machine in front of you. You reach it from a web browser or a standard Remote Desktop client, and your files, programs and settings stay on it between sessions, whichever device you sign in from.

How much does it cost?

Four plans: Light at $11.95 a month, Basic at $18.95, Standard at $30.95 and Advanced at $49.95. The monthly figure is what you pay - there is no platform fee, no per-user charge and no separate Windows license to buy.

How fast is it?

Fast. Each desktop is its own virtual machine on a server-class Hyper-V host, with its own allocation of memory and virtual cores - up to sixteen cores and twenty gigabytes on Advanced. It runs vanilla Windows 11 with nothing pre-installed to slow it, sits on a data-center connection with unmetered traffic, and keeps running at full speed when you disconnect. The device you open it from only draws the screen, so an old laptop gets the same performance as a new one.

How quickly do I get the desktop?

Instantly. You finish signing up, the login is in your inbox, and you open the desktop in a browser. There is no provisioning queue, no build window, no setup call and no approval step - the honest number of minutes is none.

Do I get administrator rights?

Yes, on every plan. It is a full Windows 11 desktop and you are the administrator: install any software you hold a license for, add printers and drivers, schedule tasks, change settings. There is no approved-software list and nothing needs a support ticket to unlock.

Is the Windows license included?

Yes. Every plan ships with a pre-activated Windows 11 license inside the monthly price. You do not bring your own and you do not buy one separately.

What do I need to connect?

A browser is enough - the desktop opens through a link on Windows, a Mac, Linux, a Chromebook, an iPad or an Android tablet. If you prefer a standard Remote Desktop client, that works too.

Where are the desktops hosted?

On Infosaic Cloud, in a compliance-audited data center in the United States, fed by redundant carriers with blended traffic - if one provider has an outage, another takes over automatically. The facility maintains a PCI, HIPAA and SSAE Type II certified network.

Is traffic metered?

No. Every desktop has a dedicated public IP address and unmetered traffic: there is no bandwidth cap, no fair-use threshold and no overage charge.

Can more than one person use a desktop?

One person at a time. A Windows 11 desktop is licensed for a single interactive user, and the desktops are set up that way. For a team, give each person a desktop of their own - the price is per desktop and there is no per-user charge on top. A company can have the desktops replicated from one gold image on a private network, as described on the VDI page.

Which plan should I choose?

Light for browsing, email and documents. Basic to replace a full office PC. Standard when office software is heavy enough to make you wait. Advanced when you want the functionality of an advanced PC. If you are between two, take the smaller one - moving up later is straightforward.

How long has Infosaic been doing this?
